Giulia Ferrini manages OGMP 2.0 and is supporting IMEO’s operationalization. She has experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of climate change mitigation-related projects.

Tania Meixus Fernandez

SENIOR ADVISOR

Tania Meixus is a Senior Advisor in the OGMP 2.0 team, with 15 years of experience in the gas business in different departments of Enagás, involved in international organisations, environmental regulatory development & policy analysis, as well as coordinating environmental projects.

Erin Tullos

Senior Advisor

Erin Tullos is a Senior Advisor and Uncertainty and Reconciliation expert in the OGMP 2.0 team. She has 14 years of experience in environmental research, regulatory advocacy and compliance. She also works as Senior Advisor on Carbon Strategies at Validere.

Ricardo Alonso Esparza Gamez

Data Analyst

Ricardo is a Data Analyst supporting OGMP 2.0 and IMEO. Before joining UNEP, he worked at the Office of the Chief Economist at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) performing quantitative and qualitative research on energy markets, air pollution and climate change.

MARTIN CERMAK

Data Analyst

Martin is a Data Analyst supporting OGMP 2.0 and IMEO. He has science and engineering background with two years of experience in methane emissions. Martin participated in EU industry groups and co-created the industry feedback to the EU Methane Regulation. 

Ruth Oyekunle

Data Analyst

Ruth Oyekunle is a data analyst in the OGMP 2.0 team. Before joining the OGMP team, she worked as an Associate with Carbon-Limits Nigeria, where she leveraged her skills in data analysis to assist clients in developing greenhouse gas inventories and assessing climate-friendly projects eligible for carbon financing.

Monika Oczkowska

PARTNERSHIP COORDINATOR

Monika Oczkowska is the Coordinator of OGMP 2.0. In parallel, she works for UNEP’s Brussels Office, where she supports institutional cooperation with the European Union on climate and energy policies.

Giulia Ferrini manages OGMP 2.0 and is supporting IMEO’s operationalization. She has experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of climate change mitigation-related projects.

Her experience led her to work with governments, international financing institutions, the private sector and not-for-profit organisations involved in climate change mitigation.

Giulia holds a MA in International Relations from the III University of Rome, in Italy, and a MSc in Politics and Governments from the London School of Economics, in the UK.

Tania Meixus Fernandez

Senior Advisor

Tania Meixus is a Senior Advisor in the OGMP 2.0 team, with 15 years of experience in the gas business in different departments of Enagás, involved in international organisations, environmental regulatory development & policy analysis, as well as coordinating environmental projects.

During the last years, Tania has been focused on the management, quantification, and abatement of methane emissions. Tania was chairwoman of the methane emissions group in Gas Infrastructure Europe and coordinated the OGMP 2.0 mirror group of the gas mid/downstream segments. She was also deeply involved in other associations and initiatives as the European Gas Research Group (GERG), MARCOGAZ, the Methane Guiding Principles and the International Gas Union (IGU).

University education in Environmental Chemical Engineering. Master in risk management: Health and Safety in the workplace. Master in Energy Business Management. Management Development Program (PDD at the IESE Business School).

Erin Tullos

Senior Advisor

Erin Tullos is a Senior Advisor and Uncertainty and Reconciliation expert in the OGMP 2.0 team. She has 14 years of experience in environmental research, regulatory advocacy and compliance. She also works as Senior Advisor on Carbon Strategies at Validere.

Finally, Erin is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, researching methane emissions and mitigation.

Ricardo Alonso Esparza Gamez

Data Analyst

Ricardo is a Data Analyst supporting OGMP 2.0 and IMEO. Before joining UNEP, he worked at the Office of the Chief Economist at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) performing quantitative and qualitative research on energy markets, air pollution and climate change.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master’s degree in environmental engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York.

Data Analyst

Martin is a Data Analyst supporting OGMP 2.0 and IMEO. He has science and engineering background with two years of experience in methane emissions. Participated in EU industry groups and co-created the industry feedback to the EU Regulation of methane emissions. Always interested in engaging across stakeholders and disciplines to find, analyze, and implement climate solutions that work. 

Formal education at Simon Fraser University, Canada (PhD), Brno University of Technology, Czechia (Msc.), and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway (Erasmus exchange). Experience in material science, design & manufacturing, fluid dynamics, heating and cooling, power electronics, and life cycle assessment.

Ruth Oyekunle

Data Analyst

Ruth Oyekunle is a data analyst in the OGMP 2.0 team. Before joining the OGMP team, she worked as an Associate with Carbon-Limits Nigeria, where she leveraged her skills in data analysis to assist clients in developing greenhouse gas inventories and assessing climate-friendly projects eligible for carbon financing.

Ruth’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria as well as a Master’s degree in Energy and Environment from the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law-University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Monika Oczkowska

PARTNERSHIP COORDINATOR

Monika Oczkowska is the Coordinator of OGMP 2.0. In parallel, she works for UNEP’s Brussels Office, where she supports institutional cooperation with the European Union on climate and energy policies.

Before joining UNEP in 2019, Monika did research for the Energy Centre of Jacques Delors Institute in Paris, worked at the Representation of the European Commission in the UK and for national diplomatic institutions in Brussels. Monika holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics and a dual BA degree in European Social and Political Studies from Sciences Po Paris and University College London.
